Where the Funds Go
Beyond cultural celebration, the festival also supports meaningful humanitarian and community initiatives. In previous years:

The festival also contributes to the local economy by bringing people into Nanaimo, supporting local businesses and vendors, promoting cultural tourism, and activating downtown and community spaces.
